ABOUT ME

 I’m an independent and carbon neutral driving school based in and around the Hartlepool area, offering manual and automatic tuition.  I qualified as an ADI in 2006 at the age of 22 and have over 18 years experience.  I am now a registered DVSA fleet trainer. 
I focus on pupil led tuition and training from beginners to refresher courses, tailor making my services to best suit your needs.  
I'm extremely proud to have made Intelligent Instructors top 100 driving instructors 2023 and 2024 also to have been nominated as GoRoadie Instructor of the year for 2023 and 2024.  I'm absolutley delighted to have won The Intelligent Instructor Awards Green Driving School of The Year 2024 and the Goroadie Awards 2024 Eco Driving School of The Year.

 THE CARS

Automatic Lessons- FULLY ELECTRIC VW ID.3, EVY
Why learn in an electric?  All electric cars are automatic , there's no gears or clutch to worry about so it can mean it's quicker and cheaper as less lessons are needed.  It's less stressful as there is less to master so you can just focus on the situation in front of you instead of the gear stick.

Manual Lessons-  Mini one D, BAKED BEAN
Why learn in a manual? When you pass in a manual you can then choose to drive a manual or automatic car giving you more choice and flexibility.

I feel very passionately about supporting you on your journey in the best way possible! I am safeguarding trained, a qualified mentor,  a mental health first aider, RoSPA trained in driver behaviour and now a certified TEST NERVES SPECIALIST.  Most people suffer from nerves or anxiety while learning to drive, preparing for their test or going it alone once passed, I'm here to help.  CARBON OFFSETTING

For the third year running I have offset the milage from my diesel car and this year I've also ran my fully electric automatic car  helping to reduce the carbon emissions produced by driving lessons even further.  A total of 10.62 tonnes of carbon dioxide has been offset by supporting global projects over the last two years and approximately  a further 4.3 tonnes wasn't produced by having electric lessons.

Eco driving school/instructor of the year

This year I was excited to find out that I was nominated for and won  TWO Eco awards.  Learning to drive can have a negative impact on the environment, but if we all make small changes to our driving habits it could make a massive difference

RoSPA

I'm a RoSPA advanced driver.  I passed my test and achieved a gold standard.                                                                                                                                                              The RoSPA advanced test is regarded as the most comprehensive and challenging available to the public. It is monitored and approved by the Driving Standards Agency . A RoSPA gold is the highest civilian driving and riding standard available. 
 The RoSPA level 4 award in Driver Behaviour allows me to be able to coach learners and trained drivers to an extremely high standard, helping to reduced the risk of accidents when out on the road.
